Indiana price increase in 2025 ~20% (I believe the new rates went into effect in November, and this does not include a base increase for having your house connected to the grid. I believe it was $10/mo increase making that % even larger.

Our bowl works pretty well, and is not tracking our data!

This would be pretty cool, if you build it I'll come :)

I moved away from Strava when they first started putting stuff behind a paywall, and just keep everything inside Garmin. But can't stand that they've come up with connect+ BS

I won't watch it there either

Ya, good to see for sure but I'll stick with my 5.7 for a bit longer!

They've extended the recall into 2024 models so I guess we'll see how that goes!

So, I see Toyota, expensive Toyota, and Subaru.

I'm a bit of a Toyota fanboy, I own a 2008 Tundra I bought new that's been the best vehicle I've owned, however the new one has not been fairing well in the reliability department (the new engine has issues). I have heard from a few sources (one personal friend) that Toyota quality has dropped the last decade too. If that's the case, what does that say about the others below these three?

You can still be best even if the "whole" group's quality/reliability is going down I guess.

Ya, I get it, and anything smart now needs to be able to work with home assistant locally.

If we had to do it over again we'd have likely gotten something different, but the features you do get can be useful!

Ya, hard disagree here, while 100% the new features could have been kept in device, vs cloud but the difference between our (770?) that just bounces around until it runs out of battery (and gets stuck in the SAME place Everytime it hits that spot vs. the newer one vacuums the whole floor and can be told to avoid the problematic area(s) is pretty huge.

Now, the new one has a host of its own issues but when it works it's a much better product that produces much better results.

All that said I think the software has gone to crap over the years and the newer (i7) actually is less reliable than it was the first 6-8 months we owned it.

Or, perhaps we can stop funding THEM

I'd have bet against that, but good to hear!
