Plus, there's a new policy: to make sure we can't tell what data is overwritten, they will overwrite all instances of the name "Donald Trump" with the precise technical term "Bill Clinton"....
They need to find someone with zero brain cells that is willing to intentionally tank the economy to appease the mad king.
At least Eric will finally have a use
Alaska has its own oil wealth fund
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska_Permanent_Fund
As of 2019, the fund was worth approximately $64 billion that has been funded by oil and mining revenues and has paid out an average of approximately $1,600 annually per resident (adjusted to 2019 dollars).[5] The main use for the fund's revenue has been to pay out the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD), which many authors portray as the only example of a basic income in practice.[6][7]
So the state does have the money, it just chooses to let it sit there and fund direct payments back to themselves instead of fixing shit
She said the cost would be footed by Trump himself as well as "other patriot donors." Leavitt said construction would finish "long before" the end of Trump's term.
So since they made a point to say that, I can only assume it will really be paid for by tax dollars, and Trump's friends will get all the no-bid contracts....
VISA handles 65,000 transactions per second. That's one of the major reasons we're not seeing more widespread adoption.
I thought they were gonna fix that by running a bunch of bar tabs
There will be another election. There has to be on order for Congress to be seated in Jan 2027. The only question is how ratfucked it will be.
All the talk of emergency redistricting in Texas is actually an encouraging sign. Because it means that they aren't confident in the outcome of the next election, and need to ratfuck it further.
You should take the job, just for the halibut
That's what she's counting on....
The logic (such that it is) is that the Federal minimum wage is still $7.25 . The "plus tips" is intended to make up the difference. If that person makes less than $4.25/hr in tips, the management is supposed to make up the difference. (And, in fact, the Federal minimum for "plus tis" is $2.13.)
This varies by state, some states have higher minimums, both straight minimums and minimums for tipped employees.
