For me the terminal is rarely faster the first time, but the second, third, nth time I need to do it it's way faster than using GUI. Also have a history trail of what I did.

Without a third party cleaning app? (I don't recommend if you aren't technically inclined BTW, most are shit) you need to go in to your system settings, find the app in question, and clear cache and local storage before uninstalling.

This site says Netflix tracks 0% of your data. If that were true they'd have no clue who watches what. Something is fishy.
