IIRC this extension just doesn't work in Flatpak. You need to use Firefox outside of the sandbox, installed via package manager or official build from Mozilla.

Space exploration has always been at mercy of politicians, especially manned spaceflight. It's only recently we've got a long-term space station used for real research, and it's about to be decommissioned because there is no political clout to be gained from sending humans to low Earth orbit anymore. Unlike planting a flag on Moon or Mars for which politicians are willing to spend trillions (but which has dubious scientific value).

Automatic probes are the only real future for space exploration because they are much cheaper than manned space programs (and thus easier to fund) and you can send them farther.

On Linux you can use tmpfs

Nah, 330% improvement won't even bring it close to JavaScript. Python is slow.

It's not about organizing resistance, it's about daydreaming about resistance.

On PC sure, on consoles devs are always trying to lower the bar.

That's not a good argument. Most of these additional languages are used for separate things, like build scripts and stuff. They don't affect actual kernel code which is C and assembler language.

It is hard when you mix them in one codebase and need bindings and wrappers for interoperability. This always introduces additional work and maintenance burden. It's always a tradeoff and for most projects not worth the effort. Tech corporations that do this regularly have dedicated teams to deal with boilerplate bullshit and tooling issues, so that regular devs can just code with minimal friction. Rust-in-Linux community decided to take it upon themselves, but I'm not sure if they can keep it up for years and decades in the future.

Though gradually getting of C is still a good idea. Millions of lines of C code is a nightmare codebase.

IDK then. On Android you can do that (though it's disabled by default if the app developer is not owner of the domain which is obviously not true for lemmy). Perhaps iOS has a similar mechanism somewhere in settings.

What platform?

Any social media where "people" can freely register and post without any identity verification (I don't support this btw) will be overrun with bots, and Fediverse is not an exception. I've blocked dozens of users and communities that post nothing by political crap (all day every day) from any point on political spectrum.

Though Fediverse at least gives you more freedom and tools to handle it.

Not very elite as they don't seem to understand genetics and the statistical finding of regression towards the mean.

You don't need to be smart to be "elite" with breeding fetish.
