It's good, but will "remind" you to pay them something. I don't consider it free because of that.

Radical ones. Possibly tubular.
I don't blame you, it's the guy in the picture that's the problem. The app I'm using only shows options to block you or the community entirely, neither of which is what I'm after. I thought maybe there was something I was missing, guess it's the app missing it.
So you got a crappy post removed once and you're still salty about it. Cry some more.
You'll miss out on useful bots, like the one that rewrites Lemmy links so they work right.
Steve is playing with his penis on the reddit front page? And he thinks anyone will pay for that? 🤣
How do you block an individual post? I don't want to see the face of a rapist in my feed.
I know little about how apks work, but it would be pretty nice if the list could be updated in-app without updating the app itself. Then as you implied we'd just need a list of known instances.
Sooner or later someone will make something, either a site or actual software, that will be able to parse the dumps and present it in a user-friendly fashion. There are enough users out there with data dumps now to justify it.
If/when it happens it'll also be possible to create an archive everyone can see and search that isn't beholden to reddit at all.
It's worse than that. If the concept of the book 1984 were a television this would be it.
The ones that aren't bots, shills or spammers are apathetic. They won't be contributing any content to speak of. They'll also eventually get bored and leave because of that same reason.
