Don't try to argue with the lemmy anti-AI crowd, it's not worth it.
ddg is great :)
I'm curious what you felt the EU should have done differently.
I'm curious about the sequence of events you think this would initiate. Perhaps the ICE raids would finally be brought before a judge, invoking the writ of habeas corpus. If it turns out that the information is no longer on the government website, the judge might declare it irrelevant? Even if the removal was malicious and intentional, it's still just a stupid prank.
Getting people outraged about things like this simply distracts people from the actual corruption and self-dealing happening in this administration.
It appears someone made a mistake and it's now remedied. However the speed with which it gets spun into full-blown constitutional crisis is what's frustrating, when a much simpler explanation fits.
There are enough travesties actually happening with this administration, we don't need to spin up fake ones.

We shouldn't delude ourselves that they will wake up from their delusion one day, but also recognize the trend so far.
The internet is frustrating.
I thought this was funny.
His study found that whole grains, when compared to all types of potatoes, were less likely to elevate one’s diabetes risk. White rice, on the other hand, had a stronger association with Type 2 diabetes than either of these foods
I'm also glad the UK demonstrated to everyone why more surveillance isn't the answer (and I hope they ask what the correct answer could have or should have been).
Yep, happened with my wife's laptop. Fortunately you just follow the instructions and we had a second laptop but I was still sweating bullets.
I love that the Lemmy crowd thinks people don't like LLMs.
