never liked moba mechanics especially "lanes" aka let's just make one map and force people to play in just one part of it because their favourite character can only play a certain role and that certain role can only play on one part of the map. and there's too many games and labels being mentioned here if this is accurate i doubt it'll be any good but we'll see.

it's usually the verbs and some culture war keywords bullshit. it's because you have to get ANGRY when reading it so they get some ragebait clicks, but their audience can barely read so they have to do this shit.
i liked it, what's there is solid... as long as you play as rome. just like eu4 the mana point system sucks but managing ideal pop composition and different cultures and religions adds a layer of depth that the culture system in eu4 really lacks. it was mostly the lack of flavour that's the issue and i never got around to modding it. all in all it was a miss for its time and paradox learned nothing from it.
terrain is nice, but it's always the same. simplified colored borders however tell your campaign's story in a simple glance. when you see your blob twice the size of that stupid ai you've had a beef for the past two hours it's satisfying.
the map. the appeal is the map itself. definitely an aspect of number go up, but mostly that maps are beautiful.
stylistically it looks like the imperator rome map. if i were paradox i would want to avoid that association like a plague. regardless i doubt it'll be good the way paradox is now.
by available i meant available. it's on a per channel/group basis and not on individual messages but essentially you can't join or view their messages even if you have their id and even if someone forwards it to you it displays a "this message is nor available on clients downloaded from google play" error message or something similar. if you joined a channel prior and it get blocked from your client you stay in but can't view its messages.
