i like how instead of adding +3:30 to the ledger they just used yellow and green together

i haven't played it that much since my ping was atrocious, but i would say no. IIRC beside membership and cosmetics that you can buy with gold, i think you can covert it into silver which you can use to progress faster and even buy gear but you won't gain an unfair advantage or get something that's exclusive to the MTX shop.

you should read what experienced players have written if you want a more detailed explanation, im just sort of vaguely familiar with the game.

Albion online seems like a good fit for you, although based on your location your ping will massively vary since they only have a few centralised servers.

they would prefer you use their pirated software rather than using their alternatives. if you aren't someone that would be paying for it anyway, this is the desirable outcome for them. stick it to them by abandoning their platforms all together.

it's a nice incremental game that really hooked me in, although as is it's really not a second tab game. if you really want it to be that then the balance should get a little easier because i was constantly monitoring my levels. you also don't live long enough, for now without a lot of content it's fine but i think you should either increase the default lifespan or increase the tick time when you add more. i also liked how you unlock the cyber skills, being hidden from your until you hit some insane goal, more of that please.

i haven't encountered any bugs that other people have not mentioned (like investing being broken as hell). on mobile sometimes the information at the bottom of each skill and jobs gets rendered correctly, but otherwise they're overlapping and it's unreadable.

P.S: shame this is hosted on gitlab since gitlab blocks my country's ip, but nothing a little VPN can't fix.

agree with your first point but for the second if it was up to me i would split recreation into sleep and chores, and rename free time to recreation (because nothing seems more dystopian than seeing 0 recreation time for your entire life lmao). your sleep would be adjustable down to a certain minimum like 4 hours (which you could decrease this minimum by having an item in the shop like caffeine pills or some kind of drug im not cool enough to know about), with less sleep increasing your mortality and vise versa.

i think traits are neat idea but you should be able to choose them rather than it being random.

cookie clicker. i play it online online because i "play" it on the browser. perfect for second monitor and mindless. you don't have to deal with any people whatsoever.

you can also try old school runescape (that's actually online). it's basically the de facto second monitor game. there's lots of grindy stuff that is just relaxing to do, alongside good quests and hard challenges with regular content updates chosen by the community. im on a break though because i don't have a second monitor

looks like an interesting game we definitely need more games that have a similar visual style to the return of the obra dinn.

i think they've mentioned in the past that the code will be donated and go open source after they've died. although i guess it would be torture to work on a 700,000 line 20 years old non-standard c/c++ codebase with almost no documentation with so many intricacies that touching one part will almost certainly introduce a bug in an unrelated place. i hope they get people onboard before they pass it on to the community.
