I guess the reason it'll have a physical release is that they want to get it into stores. As much as things are going digital, having product on stores and in front of people who otherwise might not know about it is still a pretty solid way of moving units.

I'm not sure they really fit into the category of murder mystery that you're looking for, but I recently read both The Seven Deaths if Evelyn Harcastle and The Devil and the Dark Water and absolutely loved both of them.

Stranded on an Island. By random chance you've got your three favourite books with you.

What are you reading?

Once scored an overhead kick during our in-school football tournament. Even got a pat on the back from one of the bigger kids.

I peaked at 9 years old.

Okay. If you could play any videogame again for the first time, what would it be?

I've been searching for a 'letterboxd for games' for years, and iirc that's partly what Ggapp bases it's site on. I'll absolutely give Backloggd a look though, thanks.

Desperately hoping my 16 month old has a nap so I can start my next book.

I've been a user of GGapp.io for a good few years now, and whilst the service has always been pretty solid, I'm wondering if maybe it's worth taking a look at an app called Questlog.app.

So in short, I'm just sort of wondering if anyone has any experience with the two?

If this sort of content isn't allowed then feel free to delete. Thank you.

Before I had kids: PUBG. I went real hard on that game for 18 months. I played 10+ hrs a week and never lost interest.

After kids (PUBG is stressful, I don't need more of that) it'd be Rocket League. I've been playing it consistently since Day 1 and whilst I don't see myself improving much anymore, I still get a kick (ahem) out of scoring a nice goal, or a laugh at totally missing an empty net.

Fathers day. Mum is at work however, so my day is like any normal Sunday... Looking after a sassy five year old and a miserable one year old.

Le sigh.

Trunks. Hits a nice middle ground between something like Fedilabs and Toots.

We're getting towards the mid-point of the year, and (unless I've missed it) I can't seem to find a thread for discussing what our favourite games of the year have been.

So, what have been your favourite gaming experiences so far?

Wasn't it recently reported that Microsoft and Bethesda had no real love or interest in the game, and they sort of just left them to it?

They've already taken the SX, the PS5 and the Switch. I'm not even going to let them have a sniff of the Steamdeck.

Once my eldest gets her hands on it I'll never see it again.

Goodreads, although if I can figure out the process of exporting my data over to Bookwrym then I'll likely do that.
