So bezos and his guests flying dozens of individual private jets to Venice are the “younger generations”?

As wasteful as that may seem, it's doesn't make much of a difference in the bigger picture. What does make a big impact is using all the services Bezos is providing. And not just his. Every cloud service uses an insane amount of energy. Youtube, TikTok, streaming services, online games, iCloud, Dropbox, video calls, crypto valuta, A.I. They can't build data centers fast enough to supply the demand.

They are the some of the biggest consumers of electronics and technology. What do you think powers that. Fairy dust?

Younger generations are ignoring it as well. They're busy blaming past generations, while they themselves are some of the biggest contributors to our current climate crisis.

It's a nordic keyboard, and it's infuriating that it's imposible to tell which key is Æ and which is Ø. Just decide on one key for each for f..ks sake.

That's in case of the servers overheating and catching fire. The fire will melt the plastic bottles and poor water on the fire. Trust me, I'm an engineer.

some of those AI crawlers are actually not crawlers, but actual users who just use AI instead of coming directly to the site. Soo.. blocking AI completely could also potentially reduce exposure.

Normally, websites want users to come to their site, instead of an AI search engine "stealing" the content and presenting it as it's own. Yes, AI search engines are more convenient for the user, but in the end it will discourage website creators and thereby cut of it's own "food supply".

Edit: This has been resolved in the 0.18.1-rc update

When I read through posts or comments, I find it really frustrating when new posts/comments are added automatically as it makes the whole site jump everytime. This makes is quite irritating to read comments when they keep jumping down the screen.

I'm new to Lemmy and I really like the overall feel of it. But I already find myself not wanting to read through posts/comments.

Is there a way to disable this "feature"?
