That book, along with Animal Farm, should be a mandatory book to read in school.

I really hate what this country has become.
From governments who are doing evening else but the right thing, just to get re-elected in 4 years, to the radicalisation of conservatives, to the sheer lack of empathy all around. I don't feel like I belong here anymore. I feel like I'm the one who's crazy.
I understand your point and it's a good argument. But I gotta tell ya... I REALLY miss having a few months of where I can play and just live my life and do what I love. I learned some important life lessons during that break that you just wouldn't get being in school all year round.
I think we should leave the kids alone for a couple months per year and let them live. Life isn't just about work.
Right???
That's why I buy a lot of used stuff now or repair the ones I got.
Repair shops will be like "a new one'll cost less" and I'm like "don't care, fix it."
I really hope my early 2000's Sony Bravia 720p tiny ass TV never dies on me. It's a dumb TV but has all the connections for retro gaming consoles.
When will people learn to never buy smart devices.
Who controls the past now, controls the future.
Who controls the present now, controls the past.
Awesomesauce! Thank you!
Plus I like how they have the Homebrew packaging system to install pretty much anything you need.
Windows has something similar with chocolatey but it's just not as complete. It's not *nix apps either.
The world is so fucked up. I feel just so fucking crushed by the weight of despair from what's happening in the world.
Why are people so fucking cruel?
That plus probably being exposed to covid. Apparently it has really bad effects on the brain and ability to learn.
I'm sure we can find a middle ground, yes.
