I would check out r/incremental_games for games like that. We're starting a community for it here on lenny !incrementalgames@lemmy.ml.

I created !teaching@discuss.tchncs.de - a place for teachers to discuss methods and tools for teaching. (Mostly because I'm going to miss r/ScienceEducation and r/Teachers)
