You really can't beat a cheap android tablet running Tachiyomi.
Interesting idea, honestly I'm surprised this hasn't been done before. I just hope we can have a central standard so that cases won't need to be modified.

I'm a human volunteer content transcriber and you could be too!
I just did a quick check of communities and no one has made one yet (so I made one). I posted on !main@rblind.com to see if we should move it there and created a community on https://discuss.tchncs.de/c/transcribersoflemmy
I'll have to look into something similar, currently I'm transcribing on Windows.
Edit: Also, it forces me to pick a language to respond to you. Is that normal?
There's not one yet, but i got permission from the mods at r/TranscribersOfReddit to use their tenplates as long as we change the footer.
I would love to start a community on lemmy for transcriptions, i'm just on a smaller instance.
Of course! Whatever we can do to make lemmy more accessible.
I think giving them a small project tight out of the gate might be the best.
While not a tech mentor, I am a tech teacher and my students will rise to my expectations.
I like blonde roasts, occasionally a mocha. Right now I make my own coffee using a reusable filter in a keurig. What would be the first step to upgrade? Aeropress? Espresso?
Any starter suggestions for a noob?
You can, but realize it is a system focused game and in my opinion has a high learning curve. I would also recommend the Steam version rather than the free version due to the texture pack. I would also recommend playing along with a new players guide like Nookrium's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGd_nAcmpnQ.
But the game is fully pausible and you can put it down and pick it up as needed.
