Don't worry, I already do.

Yikes! Had to cancel my donations to lemmy development after all.

Can we call it "earth overheating", because that's what it is?

I've been looking at this for a while and can't decide whether it's real or fake. This is not normal.

I believe the market will sort this out. AI slop will only stay relevant in the domain of scammers and spammers, where demand doesn't count.

Not an unpopular opinion but a plain wrong one. I've had USB C cables for far longer than the devices they connect to, can't really remember any of the connectors ever giving me trouble I've yet to see a cable/connector fail due to wear. It's a solid spec and the wide range of uses is brilliant.

That price was never particularly relevant, considering the past nominees and winners.

I've purchased a Niagara lifetime license, it's so good. Give it a spin and see whether it's for you.

They took a huge bet on consolidation and it didn't really pay off. Now they're writing it off.

I tried GamePass PC until a whole bunch of my favourite games disappeared. So I had to buy them in the end, which, given steam's usual deals, was about the same as keeping my subscription. It's not a great deal for discerning customers and people will notice.

I get a feeling MS doesn't want to be in the game production/publishing space anymore. They see bigger growth opportunities elsewhere. I personally believe that it's a big mistake and the ai bubble will cost them dearly, but chasing very short term profitability has never hurt an executive.
