This comes to mind...

But on a more serious note: the chaotic development around ActivityPub might be just fine. Let the competing implementations figure out what sticks and whether they want to and can agree on common standards. Do we need to be able to send private messages on a federated social feed? Do we need encryption? It's there actually a real, tangible demand for the "missing" features? And who's stopping developers from creating a reference implementation that actually addresses these? I don't think discussion will solve issues that ultimately require implementation.

Uhm, there is another bit in this article...

And then the other thing that I wanted to flag for everybody is that right now that, I don’t want to say that this is intentional, it could very well have been a mistake, is that critical infrastructure databases and many government agencies, as we understand it, have been exposed to the open internet, which includes critical databases at the Department of Energy, which includes a lot of our nuclear regulatory agency material.

My father had Parkinsons — it was not a good way to spend his last years.

Finally a place where hard Marxists can openly call for overthrowing the government and killing the bourgeoisie without being censored. Right?

Because of course he does.

Every day the Trump administration is trying and succeeding to reach almost comical levels of evil. I always thought comic book villains were unrealistic in their sheer sadistic joy of seeing others suffer. How wrong I was.

The Trump administration has made it abundantly clear that foreigners have no rights in the US anymore, and increasingly American citizens don't either. Enter at your own risk.

They're trying with "Quantum Computers" and "Humanoid Robots". One promises magic and the other slaves, so you see the appeal for investors.
