Not only is it a thing, if youve ever heard of "slash" fanfiction, it basically originated from "Kirk/Spock" (Kirk slash Spock) fanfics

Still nothing organized for this in my state. I'm not sure April 19th is a real organized protest or just something a few excited posters are spamming. If it is real, the organization is extremely lacking.
