we shouldn’t

Anyone can vote for anyone they see fit in any election. If that means voting 3rd party in this election, then it means throwing away an actually meaningful vote.

I'm not mad? What makes you say that? You do seem to like to twist my comments. It's one of the many reasons I don't trust you and question your motives.

So just THIS 2024 election we shouldn’t. But the other ones are ok. Right?

If this election goes wrong it might be the last real one we get so, yes. Right.

I'll be sure to save this post so we can talk about that after this election. :)

🤣 I'm looking forward to blocking you after the election.

Again, we're not friends.

They are free to vote for who they wish.

No shit. Thank you Captain Obvious.

Talk about voting against your own interests. Imagine if all this hype were true and Trump took Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona because of a Stein spoiler effect (or JFK jr or whatever other hypothetical). Can you imagine how dumb you'd feel as one of those voters, as you watched Trump rounding up "immigrants" in February 2025?

Woah. I'm not anti 3rd party. Don't put words in my mouth.

It's just stupid to vote for any third party in this election. I think we should have ranked choice and a number of election reforms to allow for viable 3rd parties. But 2 months before a wanna be dictator is on the ballot isn't the time.

[–] cranakis@reddthat.com 15 points 11 months ago (79 children)

Yeah they are. It's all pretty laughable. Everyone is aware that voting third party is throwing your vote away and this election is far too important for anyone serious to do that.

I didn't make accusations did I? Look, you're welcome to block me of you don't want to see my comments on the articles you post.

Voting 3rd party in a US election = not getting a say in which of the actual candidates gets elected. I'll keep reminding folks about that unless you're trying to say certain viewpoints shouldn't be freely expressed...

Didn't ask you to explain anything. I wouldn't believe your "explanation" if you gave one.

But all the backlash has only made me more determined

Oh sure sure. That's the reason. 🙄

Thank God you're here to make sure everyone remembers they can chuck their vote into a hole if they don't care who wins.

Same. It's funny when you hit an "article" that is really just a wrapper for a tweets with about a paragraph of actual text remaining.
