I bought a new Lenovo with Windows 11 preinstalled and apparently if I want to use this laptop I need to have a Microsoft account in c/windows11@lemmy.world

I’m pretty sure you can just Alt+F4 that and it’ll let you create a local account. IIRC, that’s what I did on my W11 laptop.
