I wish more people would travel here. We need people to build up the communities and interact with content. It’s refreshing to see comments under limited moderation, or moderation that actually targets the right kind of hate speech: the powerful punching down.

I only visit Reddit when someone here links to it, since I’m assuming the comments are relevant, or if I’m doing a Google search and the answer is in a Reddit comment.

Reddit is dying from the top down. People migrating away would show billionaires that they don’t control us.

Okay. Let’s add to the natural loss of baby bees by eating more of them. We don’t need bees anyway.

Why can’t I lease a fully furnished house for $1 a month? I would be cheaper and have less negative environmental damage. I also promise not to underpay my nonexistent employees.

I was ready for this delicacy until I saw the inclusion of baby bees. In a world where food was scarce and bees were plenty, I wouldn’t care. And maybe bees are more plentiful there and it isn’t a big deal. But…I dunno. It doesn’t sit right with me.

No! America just wants all the food (and spices) from brown countries!!!!1!! Brown people are obviously bad, though!

/s, but not really. Steal the culture and “good ideas,” hurt the people who created those things. All pretty par for the course.

Sounds to me like the US government has been thoroughly infiltrated by corporations only interested in their own profit. How dare other countries not pay billions to American corporations??

But we knew this already.

I’ve also missed this. The narcissism of American leaders has no bounds.

What the hell kind of country are we becoming. Without fears of consequences for ruining water and land, the environmental systems that support all life around the world are at risk. Regarding being pardoned for financial crimes, all Americans and anyone who interacts with the American financial system are at risk of losing everything. Becoming debtor slaves or serfs with hardly a dollar to their name.

Holy heck, you make an excellent point. This kind of activity should have conspiracy theorists working overtime. I haven’t heard of any bubbling to the surface. No “Q-anon”-type theory about why this is all happening the way it is.

Is that because most conspiracy theorists have been undercover disinformationists? Is that because most conspiracy theorists are actually in support of the values the coup is taking on (eugenics, authoritarianism, etc.)? Is it only because the left is saying what’s actually happening behind the scenes and no one came come up with any explanation crazier than that?

Huh. Interesting.

Excellent point. Thank you.

Some kids are told about it in school, and then that chapter ends and the lesson moves on and the kids forget about it. Beyond that, Americans have to actively seek out that information.

With Trump making moves to erase all evidence of the history I mentioned above, it's about to get a lot worse.
