I still barely understand, but I understand more than I did five minutes ago, and that is worth something.

Why is this math problem worth monetary value to anyone if it’s just a randomly generated number? I don’t care if something generated a number somewhere. Like, good for them I guess? Why is that valuable?

I was wondering when someone was going to mention the waste. I don’t like the destruction that nuclear waste passes on to our descendants for that many years. That’s being a bad ancestor.

I haven’t had that experience. I barely understand how Lemmy works but this app I use makes it function like Reddit. I can’t even tell the difference, day to day, but vaguely understand that if the “country” my account is on starts to get weird, I can emigrate elsewhere.
