I'm involved with a radio station in my area and it's soooooo cool to sit in on shows. All of the stuff you hear is done by live humans. They go in and manually put CDs and curate the playlists and control the levels of everything. Sometimes they talk in between with some context for the song or random musings they have. Sometimes whoever is hosting will dedicate a particular song to somebody they know. It's so endearing and human. Occasionally they'll have a prerecorded show but most of them are live.

The cool thing is that most radio stations these days also stream on their websites, so if you haven't got any good local stations you can stream other small community ones. Radio garden is a cool website where you can stream stations online from around the world.

Crocs are usually more pointy looking and angular than gators. Crocs are also much more dangerous.

Ehhhhh, this is not standard in all places. If someone asks me how I am I will answer honestly but vaguely. "Living the dream, I've been better, meh, good, pretty good." It's common for other people to answer the same way, too. The part that's not as socially acceptable is to go into detail about it if you don't know the people well/people don't have follow up questions about it.

Brian Eno has always been based and continues to be. He signed a letter calling for an Israeli boycott because of the apartheid in 2006. Plus he makes great music.

Of course I'd do it. Lack of fingers would be an inconvience, sure, but there's cool technology like 3d printing that I could use to get by okay. The inconvience is more than worth it for people to have basic human needs. Plus, with everyone having basic needs they'd be able to spend their time doing things that they enjoy and are passionate about. In all the population of the earth there are definitely gonna be people whose mission is to get people functioning bionic fingers that work like the real deal. I don't care about people knowing. It would be more annoying if they did because then people would constantly be thanking me and receiving compliments is awkward.

I'm in the process of setting up an e-waste bin in my community, but it is separate from the general e-trash bin. I want the sign on it to request specific things that can be useful and repurposed without an insane amount of effort.

I'm looking for additional ideas to put on the list. Here's what I have so far:

-SSDs and HDDs both internal and external

-Laptops, phones, computers

-WIFI cards

-RAM sticks

-Chargers that are still working
