It's baffling to me how bald-faced corruption like this can be exposed and nothing of consequence ever happens because of it. Like I get the process and procedure must be followed, it's just so obvious what happened.

There's also this strangely prevalent punk scene and a good group of progressive academics there too which makes this somewhat alarming to me.
