The phone its self is fine it’s the software that’s the problem.

I just got mine in June it’s not very old. Once I got the IOS 17 update it’s been making my phone and a shit ton of other over heat and not hold a charge. It’s the update. I really wouldn’t recommend getting the newest IPhone because it has had a ton of issues. Literally anything from glitching out to not charging. Going with a 14 or even just getting another 13 is a smarter option until all the kinks and bugs are worked out with the newest phones.

From what I looked at, it’s almost not worth the upgrade. The newest phones have been over heating and not charging properly especially the 15’s, 15 pros, 15 pro maxes. The 13s and 14s also have had the same issue but with the newest update. I knew apple before made their products to fall apart so people would buy more of their products but I think they’re taking it too far now. They’ve made their products ridiculously expensive but made very cheaply. They barely last a few months now.

Unfortunately. My phone has been overheating due to the latest update. But nothing to this extent. They might want to get it to a repair shop. Taking it out of its case and putting it on a hard surface with a fan going will cool it down at least enough to charge.

Latest software is causing phones to over heat horribly and kill battery worse. Don’t risk it
