I'm still not sure how exactly Hamas managed to get such a huge surprise attack going, nor how they managed to physically transport so many hostages back into Gaza. Did they just tie them up real good and somehow secure them to their paramotors?

I got a new laptop literally in january of this year and the fucking cheap ass plastic on the hinges is disintegrating after less than a year of totally normal use.

It's a cheap notebook, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but what the fuck, is it really that hard to design a cheap laptop in a way such that the thing doesn't spontaneously fall apart?

They're doing it so slowly to limit the number of people they piss off at once. By the time the last batches of users get the rollout, the first batches will have already burnt out being extremely angry about it.

I don't even bother using google for any topic even tangentially relevant to current events anymore. For those types of searches I actively avoid it and use Yandex instead because the shit google gives you will always without fail be the most blatant, cherry-picked, propagandized selection of articles an algorithm can dream of.

Not only that, but "4 hours less spent bombing" is just a meaningless fucking metric. They can very trivially increase the quantity of bombs dropped during the remaining 20 hours to make up for it and worse.

Personally, I'm on the "don't be an asshole" side of things when it comes to people with very awful, but ultimately harmless taste in entertainment.

But also enjoying slop is not an identity. If it really hurts your feelings when someone dunks on you for legitimately enjoying Spiderman XXVI: A Megaverse at Home or whatever it was called, then you should probably take a closer look at the unhealthy way you're internalizing your connection to media consumption.

I wouldn't partake in dunking on someone for that, mostly because I kinda get it. I also like to shut my brain off every once in a while and enjoy mindless fast-foodified entertainment slop, but if someone wanted to roast me for it I'd probably laugh at myself with them. (Note: I always pirate that shit, I wouldn't be caught fucking dead paying for it and I will always relentlessly mock pay pigs for being some of the most boot addicted people on this Earth)
