Gathering a few comrades this afternoon to carve pumpkins, and starting tomorrow going thru the end of the week, I'm running sessions for my band to record a bunch of songs for a few different releases. Gonna do 2x guitar and bass tracking while the drummer is on tour with another project, then they'll do drums and noise/synth when they're back. Tons of new gear to play with including an Echoplex preamp, and this week I'm hopefully snagging a 150w Randy Rhodes modded plexi clone to go with a new 4x12 someone is wiring up.

My favorite thing to do in the fall is carve pumpkins and roast up the seeds. The pups have Halloween bow ties on now. I WOULD say I'm doing 31 horror movies in October, but jfc I watch so many horror movies anyways that its not worth keeping track of.

How do you celebrate?

Finished up the Dressrosa arc in One Piece, and might take a little break to do some fall/spooky stuff.

Any scary/spooky/ghostly/weird/unsettling anime you like to go with this season? I think the only thing I need to get ahead of is that I didn't care for Ghost Stories after a few episodes.

It's been exactly a week as of tonight! He was grimbly grumbly and nippy when he first came home, but we're learning to work with each other's quirks, and he's mellowed out to be an absolute sweetie pie. I'm fucking thrilled! Only thing is he was fed bowls full of milk bones for a long time, so he's a little picky about real foods. But yeah thats it! Just checking in!
