Don't use crap CCP phones, and flash a better OS on it.

The truth is, if you're absolutely wedded to proprietary shit software for work - your work should put it on the laptop or PC they buy for you. Linux will be fine on your personal PC. And proprietary file storage apps suck shit too but there's half a dozen ways to access them.
Also you should advocate for Linux with your works vendor of choice and even experiment with FOSS alternatives, but the majority of people aren't like you and aren't wedded to proprietary crap.
As far as hardware support since 2010, 2010 was soooo long ago and Linux has come way further since then.

Yeah syncing from my phone was a bear, but I just let it run overnight.
Also not using iOS for what it's worth. iOS is a shithole when it comes to overaggressive battery optimisation.
