Lemmy people, this post literally showed up five times in a row on my feed across 5 different subs. How do I fix that?

Firstly, I agree this is very shitty behaviour reminiscent of what a soon to be for profit company would do. See: Hashicorp Terraform.

But I've got to caution anyone against throwing in unsolicited pull requests. If the maintainers don't know about it they'll be upset. That being said the pull requests posted seem totally solicited and in fact led on by people before subsequently being torpedoed.

Any changes that are untested are intended.

Hey you raise some serious points.

My argument is "give them 4% but aggressively stamp out corruption". As long as I get a legislated pay rise too in line with inflation.

And noting this, if %4 is all it takes to keep you out of the grasp of cronyism and corruption - take it.

But we need national legislated pay rise too because you bet your arse I'll get 1-2% at best each year for a net -20% in relation to inflation over the last 5-10y.

Seems excessive and boring to be honest.

IRL a person can learn to pick locks fairly easily, and with rakes, bump keys and combs makes it trivial.

I think DC13 for average locks, and DC18 for exquisite ordinary locks is fair. Trained skill only. Assuming done without time constraints or distractions.

If you're trying to do it quick or while being shot at you should absolutely expect DC25 etc..

Naturally anything that's really worth locking up tight will have secondary puzzle or magical countermeasures too.

Yeah that what I mean, GamersNexus would have given it a fair review and not done an absolute ballsup of the process.

And yeah, if they weren't intending to test further it should have just been sent back.
