angles

if the perfidious angles might emerge we should be extra cautious

i got no such notification and i too was certain that i wasn't anywhere deep enough, and then a giant demon sparrow with mandibles instead of a beak systematically vivisected the entire population

Mine the obsidian pillar to the southeast at elevation 28

sounds like fun

last time i did that...a demon escaped the obsidian pillar it had been trapped in and rampaged throughout my fort

i bet the person who wrote this genuinely believes that this kind of rhetoric balances out the policy decisions

i've now placed cage traps all around the well. any chance i can train the giant bats to be mounts?

it's a dangerous world to live in. just the other day i built a well over an underground lake in a cavern layer. every now and then a giant bat would fly up the well and into the room, flap around a bit, and then leave back down the well. but then one time one of the children was in the room and in a panic running away from the giant bat ended up falling down the well and drowning.

down 3.36% though. that's like 20 people who switched from eff to something else.

important to remember that gary gygax was an insurance adjuster before getting into publishing games

fair enough. i should admit i'm not really a fan of his work to begin with so i haven't spent a lot of time with it and i'm probably biased towards an uncharitable read.
