I’m glad you found such a great place to live! I left the red state I grew up in a few years ago, and I’m never looking back.

And thank you for the encouragement 😊 I’m still not brave enough to go outside while presenting femme, but I love the little sparks of joy I get from doing affirming things at home!

Yeah, my state has decent discrimination protections thankfully, but local governments and schools are trying to comply in advance with these bullshit executive orders. It’s just disheartening.

I do paint my nails! It’s one of the most visible affirming things I feel like I can get away with, makes me happy 😊 and I’m planning on getting my earlobes pierced in a few weeks too

Play some Traveller with friends tomorrow, tidy around the apartment so it looks nice when my wife gets back from her trip, probably take my dog for a walk or two if the weather allows. If I’m feeling inspired, I want to print some zines on local foraging and go around putting them in Little Free Libraries. Should be pretty chill, and I’m not mad about that!

I recently read (listened to) The Will to Change by bell hooks and Whipping Girl by Julia Serano, and I found them both pretty good

Accounting. The advice given to me when I went to college was “major in something ‘practical’ and minor in what you love”. I think that was good advice. That way you end up with in-demand skills and a solid fallback, but by doing minors and extra certificates, you get to spend time learning things you’re passionate about, and you can demonstrate to future employers that you are well-rounded and adaptable.

I’ve never deliberately mixed them to try to sleep, but I have smoked after taking Benadryl for allergies. I didn’t notice anything other than the expected effects.

Deleted my account. The app had gone to shit already anyway, it’s a shame there isn’t a comparable service that isn’t wholly enshittified

Hey, hey, no need to call me out like that

Handed down or sold, most likely

We live in the dumbest fucking timeline

Technically it’s for any printer capable of printing a firearm or the components of a firearm, which is…. every printer. What a bafflingly stupid proposal. If you’re in NY, please call your reps and tell them to oppose this bill.
