+1, not sure if shaving has anything to do with it. You can see this beading up quite easily in a sauna for example

Or gentrified or whatever!

There’s an old saying - you’re warmer in a bush than on a bench

That makes a lot of sense but is it safe to remove? I guess there’s an extra one on the other side…

That’s a great quick fix idea - thanks!

It could be. I can’t think of anything else it might be either. I’ve never taken of cranks, I guess I need some special tools? It seems to be reasonably thick so I’m not sure if I can cut it off.

here’s another photo from a different angle

Got an old bike that has this piece in between the crankset and the frame. It’s very loose and keeps rolling around and getting in the way of the chain when I pedal. How can I remove it or make it stay fixed in one place?

Which one do you use? I have a hard time finding something that works well, especially on mobile (iOS)

Edit: nvm, saw on another comment that it’s NewPipe

I didn’t see anyone saying this: the question I would pose to myself is less about the age of the date being 30 but more about her age being closer to your daughter’s and them being friends. There is nothing wrong with the age gap itself but how you feel about the situation matters more I’d say.

How do you feel about dating someone who is your daughter’s friend and essentially grew up at the same time as your daughter?

Good question - I also don’t know how clear those definitions are. In my head all managers that are under department heads would be middle, and department heads + C-suite would be upper/senior management. And the subset of upper management that is C-level is, well, C-level.

What’s Volkswagen’s org structure like? I wouldn’t normally expect a department head to be middle management.

Ah, to live in those times!

I’m thinking of making something similar to these stackable shelves. But I want to do it using hand tools only so it seems plywood is out of the question (searching online said it would damage my Japanese hand saw). So I’m looking at solid wood instead and getting pine hobby boards that I won’t have to plane seems to be the easiest and cheapest alternative. The shelves will mostly hold records and books and the largest will probably be 30x30x75cm but stacked on other shelves. Am I in for a bad time?

I’m planning to make some floating shelves 150 cm wide and 30 cm deep.

I want to mount them on a wall that has a plasterboard of thickness 13mm behind which is a plywood backing of 15mm according to the details provided by the contractor (see the attached image). This construction was apparently intended for hanging TVs and they recommend using wood screws that are not longer than 30mm.

One of the shelves will have my record collection which could weigh between 25-50kg. What are some options for hardware I can use to mount the floating shelves?
