I had zero hope this would get blocked. Still not totally sure but the FTC is definitely putting up a solid fight. I’d prefer the consoles be fighting to prove they are the better hardware and software experience, not that they can buy the most studios

Capitalism and sexism reinforce each other definitely. We should be abolishing commodification of everything, especially women. In capitalism women can be leaders of capitalistic enterprises, but they have had mixed results of show well they actually change the system. Capitalism relies on exploitation and women have been exploited for far too long.

He’s right. Glad to see more public figures acknowledging the reality capitalism is stopping a lot of positive societal changes

They’re either masochists or just aggressively malicious

I’d also recommend Ice Cubes on iOS, visually pleasing and pretty functional. And elk you can install as a half app thing where you click install from the url bar

Free software is foundational to our society today. We should be much more aggressively protecting and encouraging it

I feel like lots of liberals I know think a majority of homeless people are drug addled hopeless causes. They don’t hate them, but don’t think they can be helped. Won’t think of rent hikes as the larger cause, or the reality not a huge percent of people between homes are on drugs

If the U$ can’t make as much money as physically possible, they’re just gonna start killing poor people. No other option clearly

Average western media geopolitical knowledge

I think we can admit China has flaws, not the flaws most western media calls out, but imperfect none the less. This dismantling of SOEs in favor of western shareholder models is a tragedy. It definitely seems like that discussion was a push by capitalist ambitions to make China more open to foreign investment.

I really don’t like that concept of “risk labor”. It’s not well defined and somehow allows people to extract infinite money from something? Very fishy in my book. Definitely just a justification for entrepreneurs in the CCP. I’d prefer “risk labor” done by some level of democratic decision of where investments and focus of a nations productive forces should go. If someone wants to create some new product or service, argue for it and convince others it’s worth pursuing

I’d love to see him rotting in a cell, but my hopes aren’t high for that. Honestly props to him for leaking more information than the pentagon wanted.

Ideally the people actually making the plans for war would also face charges, but zero chance in hell of that happening

It’s not politics if it’s just common sense. Capitalism is the end of history. It doesn’t get any better than this. Stop questioning so much
