Cedar Residence, Brickworks Collection & Waste Collection Center are so good looking and well made, can't wait to see what's coming next!

I can't wait for stadiums and more public transport stations & filler parks/plazas!

Storm Byron began lashing Gaza on Wednesday with torrential rain and flooding continuing into Thursday, and is expected to last through the week.

Hundreds of thousands of people displaced by Israel's ongoing genocidal war were huddling in tent camps that offer no protection from the elements, with many already swamped due to the mass bombing of sewage and drainage systems.

Two months into the so-called "ceasefire", this vulnerable population faces the worst of winter and the rapid spread of disease, with literally nowhere dry to shelter.

Moreover, Israel is still blocking aid. More than 6,500 trucks are waiting at the crossings to be let into Gaza with essential winter supplies, including tents, blankets, warm clothing and hygiene materials. As they wait, children are going barefoot and wearing summer clothes in the freezing cold.

You have a horde of accounts and your main approach is to post Somebody Else's Opinion for engagement.

I post plenty of my own sourced content in addition to crossposting .ml

Why am I cross-posting .ml content?

I cross-post from .ml to the nearest relevant non-.ml comm to reduce the influence of .ml comms and indirectly, the instance as a whole, to make it an easier decision for other instance admins to defederate because one key reason I identified that admins don't want to defederate is because .ml still has some very large comms and some niche comms.

Megathread on the issue

Some highlights from the link:

"Don't worry guys, the Uyghur Genocide was REALLY just birth control! ~dessalines, .ml admin, dev https://lemmy.world/post/30580167

"See! nobody died IN Tiananmen Square, just AROUND it, so it doesn't count!!" ~ Davel, .ml admin https://lemmy.world/post/30673342

.ml admin, Nutomics continued transphobia https://lemmy.world/post/29222558 The original transphobic Comment from Nutomic: https://lemmy.world/post/18236068

"NK is actually good and anything counter to that is Western propaganda!" ~dessalines, .ml admin, dev https://lemmy.world/post/31595035

General negative sentiment to other instances who haven't "seen the way" yet ~davel, .ml admin https://lemmy.world/post/27426510

"If you don't support Russia then you just don't understand geopolitics" ~dessalines, .ml admin, dev https://lemmy.world/post/27352415

And so so much documentation on clear heavy handed censorship and bias also on the link. So much I can't even put them all here because this comment would be really long.

I believe the behavior of its admins (the main admins are Lemmy devs) does harm to the overall growth of the Lemmy-verse and maybe even the Thrediverse (since Lemmy kinda kicked off the Thrediverse) because of its association with the devs of Lemmy and their insistence to use .ml as their personal political platform to spread harmful propaganda

On the outside, bringing up Lemmy frequently leads to comments like "Lemmy? Isn't that the place with a bunch of tankies?" Or "Tried Lemmy, but found it full of pro Russia crap so I left". The best way forward from that I see is to either widely defederate from .ml like the rest of the Triad, or pressure them to put a fair and unbiased as possible admin team.

and you don't read the articles that you submit.

How could you possibly know if I do or don't? It's not even a requirement to post LMAO

You don't engage on anything you've posted except to defend your style of posting.

I engage when I feel like engaging, at least I do contribute, Mr 2 year old 0 post and 3 comments account. There's no rule that say posters have to engage with every single comment. If anything, that's what's indicative of spam bots LMAO

[–] cm0002@digipres.cafe 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

[–] cm0002@digipres.cafe 5 points 3 weeks ago

Us Americans should really stop being such prudes, I know the scene you're talking about and it's not bad or even sexual lmao

[–] cm0002@digipres.cafe 3 points 4 weeks ago

Oh. It, uh...opens, er...Flatpaks?

I don't see the problem here lolol

[–] cm0002@digipres.cafe 9 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

Now, what do do with the copilot button?

Well if you're into running local LLMs, you could always tie it into that

Or just make it a dedicated Steam button LMAO

Not really, unintended side effects.

Couple of different reasons really

Shopping for a new home instance

Exploring the Threadiverse from different perspectives (the "hot" feed you see can vary quite a bit depending on the instance you're on lol)

Trolling .ml (or Why am I cross-posting .ml content?

)

Learning that the bot intended to better interconnect instance comms may not be doing as good of a job

Interconnecting wayward instances, this one for example not a single comm I posted to was federated, I had to manually federate each one for posting

Creating comms on fitting instances or just among a regular rotation of general instances so I'm not making a whole bunch on any one instance

[–] cm0002@digipres.cafe 24 points 4 weeks ago

Because what's the fun in that?

[–] cm0002@digipres.cafe 2 points 1 month ago

Lol nah, but you know who else likes to make Lemmy accounts?

MY MOM
