I switched because I read Linux is secure and needs less resources, and also because of the open source philosophy. And because it's free! Hahaha Sometimes I donate a little to different open source developers. Let's help the community.

Well, they were slower to run. Moreover, snaps are larger than traditional packages, so I don't like the idea of using more space unnecessarily.

I use MX Linux. I stopped using Ubuntu because of snaps.

Here in El Salvador, you can drink tap water safely depending the region you are.

Salvadoran here. Yes. There are some mistakes. Nothing is perfect. But we can live with relative peace at last. There are some mistakes, but many of the mothers who claim their sons are innocent don't know their crimes. Gangs used to robber, extort and kill innocent people daily. It was hell to live here. You couldn't enter some neighborhood because you could be killed and dismembered. Your family would never know of your whereabouts again. Gansters are savages. This couldn't be approached in another way. Only with iron fist. Warn you. Don't let some info outlets deceive you. Those outlets are led by people who were in power before.
