Just capitalism, which has sucked for centuries.

You know, the other day I was in the hospital and there was a visibly pregnant woman outside who was smoking. I went up to the front desk and demanded to know why the hospital was condoning that behavior. The person at the desk reacted in complete confusion. So I continued on, asking why the multinational conglomerate that owned the hospital was requiring pregnant mothers to smoke. As I was being escorted out by security, the smoking woman was gone, but they all knew who I was talking about.
I love cooking. Two years ago my wife and I bought a bed and breakfast and it's been a nice way to make my hobby "professional" while not sucking the joy out of it.
It's only once a day, and it's a very small amount of people who you get to actually speak to as opposed to faceless guests in the front half of the restaurant or whatever.
You would think that.
On the wiki, the "what is retrodeck" explains it, but it assumes you're familiar with similar software. It lists some Linux OSs geared towards emulation. I think if you want to get the gist of what it is, look at Batocera.
But yeah, it seems the general idea is it's a frontend to put all the emulators in one UI.
You could try a trick I use for mosquito bites and poison ivy.
Run some hot water. Just right on the edge of too hot to touch. Put the itchy part under that running water.
It will feel like the most intense itch, but also relief at the same time (assuming it works). It only takes maybe 5 seconds to work. Afterwards, the itch stops for a couple hours.
You're either ignorant, or have no empathy.
I get it. It's hard to not get your hopes up, sometimes. But Oklahoma is DEEP red. I used to live in NW AR, and my in-laws live in Tulsa. I think your hope is misplaced.
I know the Maga crowd are the minority of the country, but holy shit it feels like they're everywhere.
I'm so happy with my Stream Deck. The improvements are so nice, but I'm not going to upgrade. But it means you get an even better version. So you'll love it, I'm sure.
This is how I read the headline.
