What an absolutely shallow take. This isn't about French fries or fast food. This is about end stage capitalism and how corporations are just nakedly colluding with each other.

This is why the cost of just about everything is increasing faster than inflation.

No-knead breads exist and are delicious.

I did this recently. Opendrive is free up to 5 gb and works with rclone. All I'm backing up is the config and data needed to recreate my containerized services. I've even had to recreate them from the backup, once.

This is why. Not because your phone is listening to you.

I work from home and my office is in a basement with no heating or air conditioning. I use an electric radiating heater under the desk so that the heater is pretty close to my body. Yes, it does end up heating the room, but being close to it helps take the chill off. And it is only 700 watts max.

Of course I still have to wear warm clothes.

In previous years, I really struggled with my feet. But I recently bought a heated foot pocket thing, and I love it.

Now when it gets extremely cold outside I only have minor issues with my fingers and nose getting cold. Still not perfect, but close.

Satisfactory.

I make a coffee flavored pudding by heating milk to 180F, stirring in ground coffee, waiting maybe 20-30 seconds, filtering out the grounds, and finally making pudding from that milk.

I have no idea what that milk would taste like, but the pudding is fantastic.

My wife cannot say empanada. It's empañada. The locals would always wonder why she was asking for a window.

There are a lot of issues with zoning laws that don't fall into the knee jerk libertarian category. A lot of places disallow things like mixed use zoning and high density residential.

Not to mention the most viscerally satisfying puzzles in a game. And also a wonderful ambient soundtrack.

I put on my robe and wizard hat.
