Feels great to be a man, right Steve?

Er, which Financial Crisis was the "Great" one?
I thought this was satire until I looked at the twitter thread. This is one of the best things I've ever seen on hexbear.
Whoa, not even making this up like four days ago I deleted an email from a CEO of a Nigerian bank. I told my wife my inbox never saw shit from a Nigerian prince when that was a thing, so this felt like a more modern version of that.
I didn't actually do more than skim that message, but this news makes it pretty clear to me that the guy knew something was up and I missed out.
Holy shit I had no idea politifact was that awful. The video quite obviously went viral for that brief moment where it seems like the "single word" is complete gibberish. I'm capable of imagining a person who doesn't find that very funny (that person I've imagined is wrong btw), but it's very hard for me to imagine a person who can actually watch the video and think it's going viral for a different reason. The only place you can pause that video before he gets to the word "possibilities" that could possibly be interpreted as him having completed his thought is immediately after the gibberish, which they explicitly state is not where the post in question ends.
It's not that I doubted the many people who have said politifact is bad, but I always figured that being bad would involve more sleight of hand than just assuming their readers aren't going to have seen the video in question. I was picturing something like refuting a claim by citing a reference to a source that most readers will find is too much effort to dig into, not relying on none of their readers having seen a very short clip they're describing as viral.
This solution feels extremely forced.
GOP said you can only get delegates towards becoming the Republican nominee if you participate in the caucus.
Candidates cannot participate in both.
I am completely misunderstanding something because this reads to me like putting your name on the ballot is effectively forfeiting any hope of winning delegates and announcing that total lack of faith in yourself to the general public.
No ideia why 2000 people decided to vote for a guy who is not even in the election
This sounds completely backwards to me. I have no idea why over 42,000 voters chose "none of these candidates" when a vote for Mike Pence will be counted exactly the same as that option but is quite unarguably funnier.
Thank you!
Do you have a link to that talk, or just that quote in particular?
I've never actually learned this stuff, I'm reading through this thread and I'm still not getting some things that maybe should be obvious. What is the role/function (both ostensibly and in practice) of both the communist party itself and their leader more specifically?
Yeah I'm kind of a terrible American stereotype myself in a lot of ways and this is still making me irrationally angry.
On the other hand, I do love the idea of starting off with a two-hour walk to be confident you don't need to cancel the other plans you've promised them.
