Sometimes I still think about this guy's glowing endorsement of the IDF when he was asked if the US was concerned about civilian deaths way back in early November:

Really helped put things in perspective for me about how ridiculous the demands that we stop backing the IDF are once I understood how much these decisions are weighing on them.

The incident like twenty years ago where someone discovered a "lost" Pollock painting and there were heated arguments between historians over whether it was a fake was so funny to me. I don't have any background in art history myself so take this with a grain of salt, but when I looked at it I saw a bunch of paint splotches, which leads me to believe it was authentic.

The one person I had blocked was a pretty prolific poster (says 3.47K comments since last January) and apparently she was banned (probably four months ago) and now I'm really curious why. I never actually interacted with her, but she joined lemmygrad like three years ago. Back then, there weren't a lot of posts on lemmy and I got a bit annoyed by how she found a way to turn so many threads into arguments, and was such a prolific poster in doing that. I ditched lemmygrad like a month or two after genzedong got banned from reddit because it went from a really chill place where I was learning stuff to every thread is a hostile argument and visiting was making my mental health worse even if I'm not involved in the arguments myself. I had a very quick trigger finger when I saw her username come to hexbear.

As someone who does not click the links to read the articles, I literally did not realize that Fat Joe is an actual person and not an imagined marijuana-friendly persona of Joe Biden until I read this comment.
