I find it useful. I follow my Kbin account from Mastodon, anything I boost I then see there - and can boost it to Mastodon easily.

If people followed my Kbin account and I used it as my main for everything, then boost would be useful without the double boosting.

No worries, appreciate you running this instance, and given how new it is issues are inevitable.

They're very random. One of my magazines I can no longer access @ukdtt but I'm not sure if it was caused by something I did, and microblogs aren't showing on a lot of occasions. @jerry does the database need another kick?
Quite often I've noticed for threads if you toggle the image related settings they start appearing. Sometimes even just refreshing the page clears the error.

Maybe Astral Chain?

I think the key is "not much margin" - they just aren't making enough profit and presumably don't want to put the price up.

You don't really need to, as everything you can do on Mastodon you can do on Kbin - and more.

He only got back into it because Commodore mixed his company up with another that had a similar name.

Oh dear, he's back to his old ways of hyping things 😕

😂 The signs make no sense either - one-way left turn only, temporary sign which says no left turn!

Keyflower is one of my favourite games!
Lords of Waterdeep is a good pure worker placement.

To prove you're not a robot, click on all the pictures of robots.

"Bot account" identifies the account as being controlled by robots.
"Show bot accounts" says that you want to see those accounts run by robots.

For discussion of all things teletext!

Searching for this URL usually works on Lemmy:

This address should work for kbin:

Alternatively:

This is new. I'm getting 500 errors in my notifications now. I don't think that shows magazine icons, so it's not that. @jerry

#fedia

Is it possible to appoint moderators from a different instance to that my magazine is hosted on? I can add them, but if I go to a different kbin instance it shows the moderator as only the site admin. On Lemmy it shows no mods at all.

Should this be possible? Should it work across kbin/Lemmy? How does it work on Lemmy (or does it not work there either?)

(crosspost - hope this is OK)

I created a new community/magazine for British/UK comedy discussion - sitcoms, stand-ups, etc.

One of the below should work, I've found that pasting the URL into search works best for Lemmy:

British Comedy

!ukcomedy

@ukcomedy

!British Comedy@fedia.io

There's a button when creating a thread which says "OC" with no further explanation. I've seen "OC" noted to the left of thread titles, presumably because somebody has ticked "OC". What does it mean??!

I created a community/magazine for UK Digital Terrestrial TV discussion (changes, tech, channels, etc) to supplement @ukdtt
Hosted on #fedia #kbin, hopefully one of these links will work!

Just in case anybody here is interested 🙂, it's @ukdtt (https://fedia.io/m/ukdtt)
