They might have had two different ideas for the setup, tried Idea 1 in the sprint race and when it did not work changed to Idea 2 for both cars based on data from Checo’s car.

Turkish has only one third person pronoun that encompasses he/she/it. Gender is similarly indicated with contextual clues.
