Yes, two in the same week iirc. "I'm not playing with a full deck of cards" and "I've lost my marbles."

In the scale of human lives, no. In the scale of human history, yeah. In the scale of planetary or universal history... it was a few seconds ago.

It's for us who listen to Knowledge Fight to get a preview of what's coming up.

Personally I only have an account still because it's the way I log into Disqus and I don't remember my actual Disqus password. I don't actually go on X/Twitter unless linked to by a post or something, and even then I'm usually not logged in because I don't have the app on my phone, and I do lemmy browsing on phone.

I work in IT and don't want to have to use annoying long passwords, so I've been team mfa for at least a decade now. I had physical code devices for SWOTR and FFXIV until I got a software one for the latter. I don't play the former much but I still have a working physical key somewhere.

In fact, I'm more annoyed when a service still uses texting your phone and no option to use a mfa app.

You realize that 1. Burden of proof is on the one making the claim, and 2. If someone asks the question it doesn't mean they were the one to downvote you?

You really shouldn't let them get to you so much. People ask questions.

An American Tale for me and my closest(in age) siblings. Bonus because while my older brother and I were American born, we moved out of the country when I was 2, and my younger sister was born outside the states. We saw the movie first overseas, then often when we came back to the US (7 for me).

It's not about that. It's about stuff like Clearance Thomas does. He used to be a black panther fighting for black rights(was still a misogynist creep). Then he eventually switched sides, prob for money and power, but claimed the Dems were just as racists as Republicans, but Republicans said it to your face and Dems hid behind a facade.

The right continously parrots this narrative (which definitely has a kernel of truth especially with NIMBYs) in an effort to either discourage voter participation or to get lucky and get Pick Mes like Thomas and Candence Owen's.

Same reason idiots claim Trump says it like it is; they think everyone really is as racist and sexist as themselves, but that Dems are just virtue signaling while their side is "honest." They don't want to change, learn, or hide, they just want their shitty beliefs to be mainstream again.
