As someone living in GA and previously lived in Florida and also being parked skinned, the assumptions of the south are indeed not always correct... but enough stuff is happening in these places that I gotta say it's much lower in my list of priorities. Let's get some of this nasty stuff gone before getting upset about stereotypes. I do think I agree with your statement of the name though.
An American Tale. Watched it a ton in St Vincent, then I moved to America as a child so there was a close feeling to it. (Just to be clear, I was born in Brooklyn, NY, but my family moved out of the states to St Vincent within 2 years. So my earliest memories are not from the US, despite being born here).
It's the best years of their lives. They got to bully people and teachers didn't punish them... it went downhill from there. Not all of course, but the bully types, most likely.

It's so hard finding low sugar cereals. I'm lactose intolerant so I usually get no sugar added oatmilk at least.
In my 40s and this isn't that daunting. Since I try to keep up with what people who want me dead (right wing) are lying about yo a degree, that feels way more stressful than mostly innocent slang. Dogwhistles are what I get annoyed at having to keep up with.
