I'd like to make a longer response but something here at work blew up, so I'll just say fair. I don't completely agree that there wasn't some sort of derailing, but you weren't the one who did it, and it can be argued the top level comment was the reason for it anyway.

So, did you bring this up as a problem where a solution should occur, or just asking to feel sorry for them? To the person experiencing violence, sure, we could recommend therapy, or be empathetic, but if we do nothing to address the root cause it won't stop it at best,and at worst we start victim blaming.

This post is more about the cause not wanting to understand they're the issue, and you brought in another issue caused by the same toxic masculinity, then got defensive when that was pointed out.

To want empathy for your problems is natural. If you just want empathy and not a solution, there is a time and place for that too. However what you are doing here is either trying to derail the conversation, or making it about something that wasn't the original convo(usually done by someone making it about themselves, but I don't know you enough to make that specific of an accusation).

If you want to fight for mens rights and proper treatment, that's wonderful. However doing it by attacking/derailing women complaining about the same issues is not. It's closer to when women's suffrage movement wanted only freedom for white women.

I haven't run into direct issues with em yet, but agreed. The path near me has several free Palestine markings, plus stuff against cop city.

Ehh, too jingoistic for me. I don't really like flag based outfits unless it's something like the Olympics, but I also mostly dislike that too (not the athletes, but the organization and the damage it does to areas it's held in).

I sometimes ask questions, and sometimes I'm forced to because the original answer somehow misinterpreted my query. I also do searches like you mentioned, but I don't exclusively do one of the other.

Actually how I paid for groceries. I've also already replaced the card via app and it was instantly available for my wallet app too. Gonna try using that more and see how comfortable I am with bringing less or no ccs with me. A few stores I hit still can't tap, but they are much less now.

As for the front wallet, kinda actually the issue. I haven't put my wallet in back pocket for years. Most of my pants have a zippable side/leg pocket that I put the wallet in, but today I wore different pants so used front pocket, but using a belt clip on the pocket lip(the main wallet on the inside). I thought I'd feel if it came out but I was wrong.

I still will go for something small,and likely never use the clip part. I'll check out the brand you mentioned.

Lost my wallet today at a grocery store full of church dressed people. Locked the cards,then saw two usage attempts on two different cards. Of course, maybe it wasn't one of the people who had just came from church...

Squeaky toys are meant to replicate small critters like mice. You can find videos of farm dogs snatching up rats/mice under chicken coop and violently shaking em back and forth until they stop squeaking. While they may not know for sure, some things are instinctual.

Yeah, my Leaf has a battery, and if the leads get corroded I can't start nor charge my battery. It sounds weird, but afiak most electric cars are setup this way.
