I remember years ago seeing some data discussing people moving west and south more, partly in conjunction with the invention of air conditioning, as well as certain roads.

I think this was one of the maps showing this.

He's such a crybaby about so many things, it's surprising he doesn't try to go fuck himself.

Maybe there's a reason epstein liked him.

Sure sounds like they're asking for socialism.

The PlayStation 5 continues to smash it

No. It doesn't. I've read lots of articles implying the rate of adoption was slow, and most ps5 owners were just playing a lot of ps4 games for a long time.

It was shocking to me how little I cared. After like 4 years I own maybe 3 PS5 games and finished none of them.

To be factual, there have been numerous protests since January, at least 1 major nationwide protest per month from what I have been seeing anecdotally.

Also reports and estimates suggest the No Kings protest might have been one of largest nationwide protests in US history, like the Women's Rights one in 2017. There's another scheduled literally for today.

The US is not a monolith. It is impressive how quickly protests started after election, and how large they have been, how numerous the locations are they take place, and how sustained this has been for over 6 months now.

Not everyone agrees and will protest. Not everyone believes in protesting. Not everyone CAN protest. It is crazy though how many have and continue to. Clearly this is a very controversial and unpopular presidency.

You know they passed a law dramatically reducing social services and driving up the national debt with tax breaks for the rich.

Par for the course. Thank a right-wing neighbor.

No kidding. They just go and make Khajiit without ever owning cats or even like researching them at all. Pathetic.

Always astonishing to me that I am either being cut lightly a thousand times or fucking gutted by a fish, and I'm angry about all of it and you all seem to think the mature answer is to be grateful for the light cutting cause it's "better" by comparison.

"A person can be smart, but people are stupid."

Most people are complete utter fucking morons about this. Enjoy voting for slower death and somehow finding a smugness in it.

You make a hell of a point.....

Are you implying I should give a shit about something here? Cause I really don't. Try harder with an actual argument rather than an idiot popularity vote.

[–] callouscomic@lemmy.zip 2 points 19 hours ago

That's a privileged take. The right wing has made voting a lot fucking harder for certain groups in certain places.

For those who were fans of 36 Crazyfists, this is Brock's new band. Released in May, the entire album is incredible. But I think the title track in particular goes hard lyrically, and I feel like it makes sense if you know Brock's history, especially the stories behind Left Hand Charity and Time and Trauma from 36CF.

Misery You were the only friend to me And the long hard stare Down the barrel of despair
