i think the problem is that the conclusions you are looking for ("benefits of various mushrooms for health and wellness") is likely not supported by the methods you approve of ("science based" ... "peer reviewed studies"). And to whatever extent they are, why would there be a youtuber banging on about it? unless they are sponsored. which is a Conflict Of Interest.
If you like mushrooms.. eat them.
