Ah, right, because it was made from your programming.dev account. But yeah, I think it would make things easier for people who are checking out your instance, since it's kind of surprising to get redirected to another instance when clicking the FAQ link.

Added to the list. BTW, the FAQ link on your sidebar goes to programming.dev's copy of your FAQ post. May want to change it to point to the local one.
Yep. Go ahead and make a top-level post for it so that people subscribed here will see it. :)
Don't stretch yourself too thin, though. Might be something to back-burner if money is tight.
I'm surprised that this doesn't exist already. There's terefere.eu - "Arts & history instance", but it seems to be down at the moment so I can't see more details. There's also crystals.rest - "A general instance for livestreaming, anime, and retro art!", but that's just for one specific type of art.

Making it on a kbin instance was a good choice. :D
I see 4 comments, not 3. :/
Just happened to me. The post does get made, but it doesn't get sorted to the top in the "hot" view. Try sorting by "new" after posting (or going to your profile) and upvoting your post. That seems to bump it back up.
If you click on someone's username, there should be a "Send message ✉️" link on the sidebar.
Added you to the list of specialized instances, BTW. You might want to do some sort of cross-promotion thing with literature.cafe, as I'd imagine there'd be a fair number of people interested in both.
