Very good about the chancellors! One of the questions that I didn't get was "Who was the first chancellor of the united Germany?", which is indeed Kohl :).

And I was also joking that the real integration test is how you react when they tell you that you'll receive the results by post. If you nod wisely and agree that's the only correct way, you're ready for citizenship :).

I have never heard of this game, but the word "Fearamid" is doing a good job of convincing me

Was re-listening to some Hu today, and some of their harder songs are from their newest album, Rumble of Thunder. "Shihi Hutu" and "TATAR Warrior" are both quite a bit harder.

I've been using variable-pitch-mode in my Org files for a few years: I find it nicer for writing design documents, meeting notes, and documentation. And I use it for all Org files, as if I embed code in a source block, that's still monospaced and font locked. Best of all worlds :).

The only issue I have is that I use org-indent-mode, and sometimes the spacing doesn't 100% line up, especially with bulleted lists. But I have long since gotten used to that.

Yeah, I was actually a bit surprised that they had a number of harder moments durig the concert. Overall it was still on the lighter side of metal, but 1-2 songs were pretty hard, though sadly I can't tell you their names :). We also had a pit for a while, and rowing during one song.

Small update: the concert was awesome! The opening act didn't really fit so well, but the singer did at least acknowledge that :). Byt The Hu themselves were awesome, and the atmosphere was great.

My company uses Gmail, and I have a Mac at work, so I'm currently using the default Mail app, which I really don't like. I've tried Thunderbird so many times in the past and always found it just a bit too hard to use smoothly, so I am super excited to install Thunderbird again tomorrow and see the improvements.

Today, I paid for lunch in cash, even though the restaurant accepted card. Exact change. And it was over 10€, but I paid only using coins.

If you're open to web-based readers, I personally use The Old Reader, which is modeled on Google Reader: https://theoldreader.com/

I also looked into NewsBlur sometime back, especially because there's a package for integrating it into Emacs, but I didn't pursue it any further: https://newsblur.com/

Ich finde die Initiative voll gut. Ich habe immer eine Wasserflasche dabei, aber weiß nie, wo ich sie unterwegs wieder auffüllen kann. Ich hätte sehr gern mehr Trinkbrunnen in der Stadt.
