I prefer the LW icon though :( There really should be an fedivent for mods to create icons for their comms. ^But maybe i should just make one myself and propose it.^

Why is this in c/upliftingnews ? Its rather depressing that we are unable to build safe neighbourhoods without having to kill eachother.

Yea, no there are some. Just forgot about it. Don't see them often.

GoToSocial made the move recently too.

Yeah, i might also remember seeing one of those, but i think its just my mind playing tricks on me.

It's an c/elevatorthought, hope its okay.

I never seen the insides (or outside....) of an elevator so as far as i know they might be just teleporting me to the floor.

Lots of potential to make a conspiracy theory i'd actually believe in as it makes me feel really cool.

Is this regarding the badly generated audio tracks? Just checked and couldn't find a single one with that on. Even on videos i remember having them. It's really sucks that new features even bad ones are decided seemingly on country, language, accounts status and other hidden variables.

I'd be okey with that if they pressured itch.io to delist Atmospheric, First-Person, Horror, Psychological \hj

:( Ich bin nicht faul

Watched this a while back throughout enjoyed it and thought i might share this here.

I really liked the first part of the video. Especially the analogy with nyc traffic.

Its not much but it works.

Also please do not point out that it is closer to an "Sage Green" and not "Monstera Green" I already had that discussion with a friend :)

This channel was recommend earlier this year, but still wanted to share it here. Not sure how much in AC:GC you can still expect to be there to make a video on but the ones up there are all a great watch!

Hope this relates enough to the growing of the threadiverse and is not too technical for this comm. After the closure of .ee I was wondering if there is/was some movement to be able to migrate whole communities off an instance including all its posts. Having a great resource of human made information is the main reason to be using lemmy but the possibility of it vanishing is scary.

To my understanding the posts that are hosted on the op's instance and not the one closing down can be migrated by the actor of the community "boosting" (or whatever the activity pub term is) the posts again. And for the posts hosted on the instance closing down they could have a process similar to mastodon migration, of course on their own decision.

Was this discussed elsewhere?
