Am I reading this right...

NYT posts sensational/false weaponized sexual violence article sometime between October-December.

NYT is going to post a follow-up article, but faces crisis of either repeating false claims or downplaying how much sexual violence occurred, essentially admitting they lied earlier. This internal debate gets leaked to The Intercept

NYT conducts "witch hunt" interviews of staff to find who leaked to The Intercept.

That's how I read it. What I want to know, that this article didn't cover, is: where did the original bad reporting come from and why did it get published?

I'm part of a discord that's mostly irl friends who use it to share memes, personal updates in their lives, hobbies, and sometimes game together. It's a great tool for that

I grew up with the movies and my mom loved mel gibson (lol) so they have tremendous memorable value for me. But the bleakness of the scenery, the harshness of the people, the will to survive despite it all, it captured a real mood that people connect with. The wardrobe choices and sick automobiles made it even cooler.

The new one captured the original mood, tied it to current themes, and nailed the cinematography
