Stadia was great. No monthly fee. Good enough selection of games. If they had put literally any effort into it, they could've done amazing.
It was cool of Google to give me my money back for my games.
Sounds like you need to try Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal 2.

Understandably not everyone's favorite game. But unlike most MMO's I've played, the game has a fun (enough) game play loop, with the best dungeons I've ever seen. Creative, dynamic bosses.

And unfortunately, those companies have a huge leg up. They'll generally be the ones to write ads and tracking into the server. They'll get the investors money. They'll make the flashy ads they play on Facebook and TikTok.
