I really like it in extra firm as it provides a lot of support for any position you want. Absolutely this. An induction range was a game changer in terms of cooking and has paid for itself many times over. I lucked out and found a high end used one for $400 many years ago. When camping I use a portable one, and while not as good as a full range, it is still much better than any propane cooktop I've used.

Yes, it really is. Mine will be 8 years old next month and it still works great. I did a battery replacement on it a few years ago. The case is getting a bit beat up but I think it will still last a while longer.
